Summer Fête 2023

ISLE OF DOGS GRAND SUMMER FÊTE

What is the Summer Fete?

The Summer Fête is an annual fund raising event organised by Christ Church, Isle of Dogs. Volunteer initiatives through the spring and early summer make for a summer community event full of joy and fun for the Isle of Dogs: market stalls and prize raffles, a bouncy castle, face painting, refreshments, crafts, ice cream, cakes and so much more for a good cause !

Where will the money go?

Funds raised during the Fete will be donated to support the church’s community work:

With Tower Hamlets Night Shelter
Parish Pantry (our food bank)
Visiting elderly and frail members of the community at home and in hospital
With our user groups: Cocaine Anon, Alcoholics Anon, and others
Giving a home to key projects, e.g. an art club for people with a history of mental illness
Providing other services direct, e.g. a gardening activity for bereaved people

No money raised during the Fête will be used for religious purposes. These are paid for by the regular Sunday giving of the congregation.

Check our Calendar for details of the next fete (Sunday 9th July, from 2pm) or contact us, particularly if you would like to help out!
