Since 1987 Black History Month has been marked in the UK. At Christ Church this year October will have a Black History feel, with gorgeous hangings of African printed fabrics displayed in church. We are welcoming back Mthr. Shana Maloney (who was an intern with us, before training for ordination). Shana will preach for us on the 17th October, and will participate in the special event we have planned for the evening of the 24th October, starting at 6pm when there will be talks, music, food and spoken word performances in church.
