Sunday School and Island Churches' Youth Group

Sunday School
Sundays from 10:55am

Sunday School starts in church with a short prayer at 11.00am and then the children leave to begin their learning and activities. Parents can stay with the children, until they are settled, but are then then encouraged to rejoin the service. Children aged 3-7 years have a Bible talk and time of singing and learn more about the day’s Bible passage and to pray. They learn through discussion, memory verses, crafts and games that all connect with the learning theme of the day. We like to find out what the children have done and learnt during the church notices. We welcome new children and parent helpers.

Island Churches' Youth  Group

Wednesday evenings

There is widespread agreement between the church communities on the Isle of Dogs that youwork is better done together. Hannah Luke is employed by City of Peace Church and runs 2 groups, and Christ Church provides the venue - the Crypt (which has a long history of being used for this work). The younger youthgroup (11-14 years) meets from 4.30 - 6pm. The older group(15-18) meets from 6.00 -8.00pm. Both groups welcome new members (and adult helpers0>

This is another joint group for those 8-11 years. It meets at the Samuda Community Centre, 44 Stewart Street. The leader is called Dotty and her number is 07443891184
